To say 2020 has been unique is an understatement. It is almost May and I haven’t worked since early March due to Covid-19. March and April are usually a very busy time for me. It’s one of my favorite times to shoot. I know people love fall but I love the spring time into summer, no doubt. Shutting things down due to the non essential manner of my job was not easy, but it was the right thing to do. I have had every single emotion you would think. I’ve panicked, cried, been really mad, been really calm, had happiness, peacefulness, been super anxious….all of it! You know what though? I have survived! It’s been a time of reflection, learning, leaning on my people, and I see the light!

Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks we can start phasing in our outdoor sessions that we postponed. I have been working on some reminders and covid guidelines that all clients will be getting before their session. It’s important for all of us to be mindful of each other. As always, clients make the call on whether or not to shoot. I am booking family sessions through July. If you have questions or want to look at booking, you can hit that contact me button. One of the sessions we have postponed was the Vandever family. We alway do a mini session for their family. It’s super fast, fun, and they are always happy. I love that Maggie knows her family and knows 30 minutes is just enough for them. They ALWAYS have a great gallery.

Last year we shot in early May on a farm and I just loved the session. I can’t wait to see them again in a bit. Here are a few favorites of the Vandever family.
