Molly and I were college roommates.  There are so many good (and not so good moments) we have shared that we could write a book about all the experiences.  One life changing experiences that happened while Molly and I lived together was we lost our amazingly funny, kind, and oh so young friend Misty to cancer when we were 22.  It is a miracle we are still friends because that was the HARDEST time of my life up to that point (and I am sure Molly would say the same). Our friendship has for sure had its ups and downs but luckily we stuck it through and I’m thankful for that!

Molly and I don’t live in the same city but we try to get together whenever we can. When she asked me to photograph her and the boys I was so excited!  Photographing her boys was pretty much like photographing mine…….lots of wrestling!  Its really fantastic to see her with them and I really enjoyed our short little session.  They are adorable!

Molly~Thanks so for letting me capture you and the boys.  I am thankful for our little journey we have traveled.

Love, Wen.

*Thought I would share a picture of us from college first.  Misty is first, then Molly, me, and our friend Kelly.  We were SAE little sisters and this was for their 70s party.  We always went big wherever we went!

Good Morning!

It’s always bittersweet when I finish up a sweet babe’s first year.  I love watching them go through the milestones, grow, and change.  Emma is no different. I have loved photographing her this year. She has always had such a sweet spirit about her.  She’s a walking talking little bundle of joy and I have so loved watching her grow.  Here are just a few from another warm sunny weekend.

Thanks again Amy and Jason!

Love, Wen.

Pure sweetness this little Baylor is!  He always has such a huge smile on his face and no wonder, his family adores him!  He has a really great  big brother and sister that can’t get enough him, its the cutest thing! We met before the session that I last blogged about so the weather was warm(er) and really sunny.  I always love the sessions I have with this family.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Thanks Beth-I love photographing your too cute family!

This sweet Bush family-I love em!  We originally met a week before and as soon as we pulled up it started raining.  Luckily the next week looked much sunnier (and warmer) so we rescheduled.  I love when clients are flexible like that.  The weather can be a beast for me sometimes but there is always a sunnier day in the future and it always pay off to wait.  This field is one of my favorite spots.  I love how the sun sets behind the trees with all the yummy wheat (and weeds) in the background.  Its always a favorite spot for me.  Sweet Eli was happiest with mom holding him this time and these of course turned out to be some of my favorites of the session.  His smile and laugh is contagious!

April, thanks so much for being flexible and for always trusting me to capture your growing boys.

Love, Wen.

On November 12th 2013 my beautiful niece Brooklyn was born. I can’t really write about it without getting weepy so I am just going to let the pictures tell the story of her special day.  We love you Brooklyn and are so glad you are here.

Love,

Aunt Wen.
