Good Morning! Sunday afternoon I had a mini session with one of my old Elzie Patton co-workers. I now offer mini session options year round. Because my calendar fills up so fast, its harder for me to offer a day of mini sessions but working a mini session into a day of shooting is easy for me so I love making that new option for 2013.
Kristin is the school psychologist at my old school. Sometimes a mini session is all a family needs and this was a prime example. We got MORE than enough shots. Our session was very smooth with tons of smiles from sweet Adam. He is such a cute little guy and the their interaction as a family in front of the camera is really great. This was a STRESS FREE session and I absolutely love the results.
Kristin, thanks so much for trusting me with your pictures and the sweet note-it made my day. I will be praying for your little fam the next few weeks. I appreciate all the sacrifices your family makes to protect my family’s freedom.

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a great week-end! I got to shoot the sweetest family and newborn girl. They were both awesome sessions–laid back (my favorite lol), sweet, and just filled my soul with lots of goodness.
Lexie~12 days new
Sweet Lexie was my newborn from early Saturday morning. When Robin contacted me about doing her pictures, I didn’t realize it was her big sister Savannah’s 13 birthday in heaven. Robin is such a strong and amazing mommie. We spent our session time cuddling with Lexie, talking about Savannah, and of course big brother Luke too. I knew Savannah from my MJE days so hearing some stories about her made my heart happy (even the mouse in the car story—I would FREAK OUT)!!!
One thing that Robin said that will stay with me; she said she has no regrets when raising Savannah. What a true testament to the way Savannah lived and loved. She gave Savannah such a happy life and loved her with all her might while she was here. That’s what life is all about–loving and giving with your whole heart-with no regrets! I will take that piece of advice and cling to it.
Lexie was a sleepy little thing. There was a little pressure because we had to be out of the studio before I normally do but she stuck with us, letting me pose her with ease. We covered her in purple (Savannah’s favorite color) and I have to say, it suites her. Her blonde hair and tiny features are perfect -I fell in love with her for sure! Robin, your strength amazes me and I am a better person and mom just knowing you. Thank you so much for taking the time on Savannah’s birthday to come and see me. Lexie is beautiful and it was a treat to love on her. Love, Wendy

Happy Friday!!!! I am trying hard to catch up on some of my sessions because I have a newborn and one year old tomorrow. My decision to take most Sunday’s off has been one of the best I have made in a long time. I love feeling refreshed and spending the whole day with my family! I hope you all have some fun planned for the week-end because the weather looks GREAT!
Meet Jack. He is one of HAPPIEST baby I believe I have photographed. His cute rolls and his awesome hair adds to his total package. I met he and his mom at the studio earlier in the week. It was a SUPER laid back session with us playing, singing, dancing, and cuddling. The only time he even attempted to cry was when the Papa John’s man spoke to him in the hall. This session just worked and I have really enjoyed editing his sweet little face this week!
Heather, you know how I feel about Jack—I want to eat up his little face and I really loved photographing him. Thanks again for coming to see me! I had fun!
**Jack has a lot of images to choose from but today I thought I would do something a little different-black and white only. Here is sweet boy Jack!

Happy Thursday!!! I am editing right along today and I came to Paisley’s session. She was very happy little girl for me. All smiles silly giggles, and adorable faces. When this age is on, they are ON! Here are some of my favorites of this little Miss!
Annie, I hope you enjoy your preview-thanks so much for choosing me to photograph Paisley’s first year. It has been a joy watching her grow and change. You all are great parents and she is a very lucky little girl!

Good Morning! I am on a blogging roll these days because I have so many wonderful sessions that have happened lately. I am getting more and more feedback from my clients that they love their family on my blog so they can share it with their loved ones. In my super busy days its hard to blog everyone because it takes a while to put together but I am making more of an effort, I promise!
Ok, Harrison: Let me just say this boy is a miracle. If you have followed the Chalos Adoption Story you know what an AMAZING journey they have been on. 3 Kids in a small amount of time can be kind of crazy but Chad and Kristle are doing an amazing job and we had a really relaxing morning in the studio last week. Harrison was a great model for me and so was his brother and sister. If you want to read about this pretty awesome journey here is the link to their blog
Kristle and Chad, what can I say? A year ago I couldn’t have imagined taking pictures of your 3 beautiful children. You all are blessed and I am so glad I have been able to follow your journey. I hope you like your previews.
Sweet Kab loved my cowboy boots and had to try them on….which I in turn had to snap a picture. What a cutie pie!
Have a great day friends!

Adelynn’s mom and I cheered together in high school. We were great friends-I spent many nights at her house, riding around in her little blue car, chasing after boys, sharing clothes; all the things normal teen girls do. After high school we went in different directions but every time I see her I love catching up. This is one of the many things that makes photography so great for me. Seeing people I wouldn’t normally see and getting to watch families grow-its a real treat for me!
Little Miss Adalynn is a very smart, silly, and persuasive little thing! She probably could have talked me into just about anything during our session. She and I were instant buddies for sure! She is a cutie pie and I loved seeing her bigger than life personality! Here are some of the pictures I feel really speak of who she is!
Thanks Amanda; as always it was great seeing you and your sweet girl–she is a terrific little miss priss!

Happy President’s Day! I hope everyone enjoyed their week-end. I love having an extra day to get stuff done, its amazing how refreshing that is. I can feel my busy season starting, its right around the corner. Let’s hope I can still blog when things start speeding up (one of my goals for 2013). My spring and summer calendar is looking busy with some old and new faces and I can’t wait to see you all! Did I mention I have 10 babies on the schedule for Feb-April? That’s going to be a whole lot of cuddling!
This family just recently moved back home to Mt. Juliet from Orange Beach (lucky ducks). We met one very mild Jan. morning and I just love the pictures we got and I can’t wait until her prints come in! Sarah, thanks so much for trusting me with your pictures and I can’t wait for you to see them!
Her face that her mom loves so much, so cute!

Sweet Cameron was such a happy boy for his session! He was all smiles! This is such a fun age to photograph. They are not too fast for me and they usually think I am pretty funny! Here are some of my favorites from his session.
Thanks Brandi for coming to see me (and thanks Bekah for being an awesome assistant). If you ever want to work for free, come see me
***Happy Valentines Day Friends! I hope everyone has a great day with the ones they love the most!

I am getting ready to see sweet Harrison Chalos in the studio this morning so this will be brief but I am really trying to blog more and share more happy people!
I am praying for a sleepy baby and lots of cuddles! He is a blessing for sure and I am excited to meet him!
I have been photographing sweet Anna Kate since she was a newborn. She is going to be celebrating her first birthday soon and I am so enjoyed watching her grow. Thanks Shannon for coming to see me. I know you love pictures as much as I do and I appreciate you always trusting me with your images. Love, Wendy

Hasn’t this weather been amazing?! It has been a great week of play dates with my photographer friends. It is always good for the soul to get out in the sunshine with friends. The winter blues are rough on this photographer who loves light and the outside. I hope these warm temps stay for good, I am so ready for spring.
Now on to share the Boze family. Van Dallas is 9 months old and the cutest little thing. He is easy going and full of smiles. I have known this family for a long time and really enjoyed photographing them. They are at ease in front of the camera and full of love! Lindsay also owns a traveling boutique (Van Loo) so their outfit choices were perfect!
Thanks Boze family for coming to see me, Van Dallas is a doll!
